Nayapane Tea factory one of the Flagship orthodox tea producing factories of Elpitiya Plantations Plc achieved the prestigious title of Runner Up for the Kandy Region for “Total Excellence in Tea Production” for the year 2023 at the 24^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Tea Exporters Association. 12 outstanding tea manufacturers were recognized at this event on 1^st September 2023, at the Grand Marquee, Taj Samudra Hotel. This esteemed accolade was presented to the Nayapane tea Factory by Mr. Niraj De Mel, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tea Board.
